Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, currently on an official visit to China, was warmly welcomed upon his arrival in Beijing.
At the Beijing Capital International Airport, the Prime Minister was greeted by Sun Weidong, the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China.
Prime Minister Oli’s delegation left Kathmandu at 11 a.m. on Monday aboard a special chartered flight from Himalaya Airlines.
During his visit, Prime Minister Oli will be officially welcomed by Chinese Premier Li Qiang on December 3. The two leaders are expected to hold talks and sign agreements following their discussions.
Later in the day, Prime Minister Oli will also meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of China’s National People’s Congress.
