Cyber Bureau Warns People not to Open Links Sent in Messages

Kathmandu: Cyber ​​Bureau has warns the people to be vigilant as there has been an increase in online fraud by sending various messages with warnings to some bank wallet users through social media.

The Bureau has issued a notice today and has informed not to share your details by clicking on links sent on social media and messages and not to ‘install’ any software on your mobile, laptop etc. devices.

Recently, illegal links have been sent through social media claiming that loans can be paid online, that training related to the stock market can be taken and that the necessary software must be installed by opening the link provided for that, informed the bureau’s Superintendent of Police Deepak Raj Awasthi.
