Trump announced to negotiate with China after imposing 125% tariffs

Kathmandu: US President Donald Trump has said that he is ready for talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The reason is that he has imposed a customs rate (tariff) of more than 125 percent on China.

At an event held at the White House, Trump said that a “fair deal” would be made with China and any other country.

Trump has also announced a 90-day moratorium on the implementation of higher customs tariffs. This means that most countries will be subject to a “universal 10 percent” tariff.

Stock markets, which have been facing turmoil since the tariff cuts, have rebounded. And analysts say the US is starting to treat most countries better. Anthony Zurcher is of the opinion that “even if we treat other countries well, there is a danger that the trade war with China will increase.”

America’s neighbors Canada and Mexico still face tariffs, which the US imposed last month.
